I'm not big on publishing much more than my email address (which is already on every spam list on the planet, anyway). I'm always available at:

Land Rovers

Though I haven't been getting out on the trail as much lately, I do love crawling over rocks and logs, and otherwise doing things that seem as though they shouldn't be possible in a vehicle.

I also love tinkering with these strong and simple workhorses.

Welding & Fabrication

There's something strangely satisfying about building things with metal. Realizing that in order to do some things I wanted to do to my D90, in 1998 I took a TIG welding class at the College of San Mateo.

This has turned out to be one of the better things I've ever done. Since then I've not only built a bunch of great Rover parts, but I've furnished my apartment, built snowmobile trailers, constructed a 12-foot tall rolling mushroom, and repaired countless things that otherwise would've ended up at the dump.

Bay to Breakers

In May of 2006, the Bay to Breakers was taken by storm by 300 Smurfs. Tom Covington, Brian Lamka and I organized "Smurf to Breakers 2006" which set a Guinness World Record for the largest group of people dressed as Smurfs (and an unofficial record for the most beer consumed by a collection of Smurfs - 15 kegs).

We're back at it this year with an all new theme, and an even more absurd "float," described by none other than Steve Jobs as being 'very cool.' I'm inclined to agree. http://www.fabertobreakers.com
